Plastic pollution remains one of the greatest threats to our oceans. In less than a century, humanity has produced over 9 billion tons of plastic, much of which still exists today in landfills, waterways, and marine ecosystems. Each year, more than 350 million tons of new plastic are manufactured, yet less than 10% is ever recycled. The rest often finds its way into our oceans, harming wildlife and disrupting delicate ecosystems.

We can all make a difference. Join local beach cleanups, reduce single-use plastics, and recycle whenever possible. Together, our small actions can create a cleaner, healthier ocean for generations to come.
