Political attacks are an unfortunate but common feature of election campaigns. On October 10, 2024, The Messenger Papers, including its Brookhaven, Smithtown, and Islip editions, published an article containing false and defamatory allegations as part of a coordinated political attack against me. Following the publication, the newspaper agreed to print my full rebuttal, which appeared on November 6, 2025.
